Daniel Brandon is a 17-year-old cellist from Epsom currently learning with Michal Kaznowski at the RCM Junior Department. He has been a member of the NYO for two years, and co-leader of the cello section of Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra. Daniel has won numerous awards in various competitions and festivals and taken part in a number of masterclasses, most recently with Alexander Baillie, Leonid Gorokhov and Robert Max. Future performances include the Saints-Saens concerto with the Leatherhead Orchestra in July and with the Sutton Symphony Orchestra in November.  He also has recitals planned in June in Shrewsbury and this autumn in Poole. Daniel is going to study with Alexander Baillie in Germany for a year from September 2019.
